Product Description
Great sounds of engines long-gone are in this recording from the 60s. Featured is a run-up through all of the throttle settings in a Santa Fe F unit, a ride in the vestibule behind an SP GP-9 and a Fairbanks-Morse Trainmaster where you're the passenger on an outing that can't be duplicated today. You will enjoy the sounds of Rock Island E-6s and 7s and IC Es and Geeps at speed in the Illinois area. Add SP SD-9s and some funky old Alco, Baldwin and GE switchers and you've got great background sounds for your train room. Run time approx 40 minutes in stereo. Originally released by Arkay Records and then L&H, we have a few of these left in cassette form never to be done again. Quantities are limited.
